Active Hud offer numerous support pathways to help students and staff suffering with low mental health.
About the programme
The Active Support Scheme has been introduced to provide students who are either struggling with low-level mental health or adapting to university life, with free physical activity and support from our staff. Students will be referred to the programme from the University's Wellbeing Team, or the from the Students' Union.

This scheme is for staff only and requires a referral from a member of staff in Occupational Health. Staff will receive a free 3 months gym membership and will be invited in for a facility tour and induction.
Get Set Goal is a wellbeing service that forms part of the Health and Wellbeing Academy at the University of Huddersfield. It is a service that is committed to improving the health and wellness of individuals and communities by helping people to achieve personal goals by making informed and positive lifestyle choices. Support is given through one-to-one coaching sessions and workshops. This service can be accessed via self referral. A free 3 months gym membership can be offered for students participating in this programme. Find out more about Get Set Goal
