Inter-School Sport Tournament
ActiveHud collaborate with the University of Huddersfield's International Office to run a sporting competition where students get the opportunity to represent their Academic School and score points to win the Interschool Sports Tournament. The inaugural Interschool Sports Tournament ran in 2022 with the School of Computing and Engineering being our first ever winners.
The School of Business, Education and Law are our current reigning champions, can they retain their spot as champions, or will a new contender take their place?
The 2025 Interschool Sports Tournament has concluded with a close finish with the School of Business, Education and Law holding off strong competition to retain the crown of the University of Huddersfield’s Interschool Sports Tournament Champions!
This year’s competition had 45 students representing their schools on the day, playing in basketball, table tennis and badminton tournaments to earn points for their school. The standard of competition was high, and the final scores were so close! In the end it was the School of Business, Education and Law who ran out worthy winners on the day.
Next year’s Interschool Sports Tournament promises to be even bigger and better. Will the School of Business, Education and Law be able to hold onto their crown? Or will we have a new champion?
