We know that course deadlines and exams are some of the most stressful times here at the University. The 2018 annual NUS survey defined the top mental distress triggers among students as follows:
- 65% - Course workload deadlines
- 54% - Exams, including revision
Since sport and physical activity can help lift your mood and take away built up stresses, we are offering you opportunities to help revitalise your revision, allowing you to unwind and recharge. Physical activity has also been found to improve sleep and reduce anxiety levels, releasing chemicals in your brain that make you feel good and help you concentrate.
